The Big Picture
the situation as a whole.
the whole story of something; a complete view of something.
So the question is, while executing ideas (or perhaps someone’s ideas) how come you didn’t see ‘the big picture’?
You have to see the big picture (or bigger if you have one!) before starting to execute.
