Claimed BPJS, Not so Mobile Thursday and cool conversation with Uber drivers
Another fun and tiring day for me as a ‘free agent’ and being independent before I join new company. So here’s the story.
I started the day with go to Menara Jamsostek to proceed my BPJS pension fund. I already registered with the e-klaim couple days ago and all my docs thankfully passed all the requirement and they replied to my email that I just need come to the branch that I chose to with bringing all the docs.
About BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Pension/retirement fund), is a program from the government for us, worker to save our money by cutting probably like 1% from our salary and the employer has to add 4% to pay monthly until we resigned from the current job ( Hmm.. I am not sure about this but the payment works both ways between you and your employer). You can take your fund if you are not working anymore or you can take it if your age is old enough to retire. Well, since I am not working yet and I have 3 un-active account of BPJS, I claimed just one (the one comes from the very red company because sadly they change my last salary number to minimum. Shit) while another two I just save it for later. Actually, I tried to claim another one but the data isn’t match with data from BPJS lol. But hey, at least I know what kind of requirement that I need to change!
I ordered Uber, and go straight to Menara Jamsostek with all require docs. When I was on Kuningan, the traffic was like hell but thank God, there’s Uber so I don’t get sweat and being comfortable in that kind of heat.
BPJS Proceed!
And It only took like less than 30 minutes. I arrived at 8:50am, ask the security to have number so i can wait to be called. I just wait for couple of minutes and my name got called. The CS was very friendly and helpful. She check all my docs and told me there’s some question on the form I should fill. While I am writing the answers, she proceed all my docs and she said it will be transferred to my bank account in 5 work days. That’s sweet.
So, if you need to claim the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, just use e-claim rather than offline claim. It’s the only way to save your time. Upload and bring all this doc after your e-claim has been agreed (these are mandatory) :
Provide all these and you’re ready to go.
And I am done with BPJS number one!
After that I work in coffeeshop for 1 hour before I am going to another my ex-employer office to match the data and ask for a stamp because the data has been change and my ex-employer must acknowledge this. So wasting my time for this thing.in a coffeeshop, I totally loved the place. It’s so warm with the morning sun, and I am so thankful to have this kind of time and enjoying working outside quite often. Okay! Got an appointment to do! I am fired up, ready to go (Obama style).
The Uber Drivers
So, I ordered Uber again and got this witty driver talks about being entrepreneur and see the chances to make a better living. I really enjoyed the conversation because he knows that good business and good product are the one who solves people problem with our solution. Some nice thoughts from him was how he can advertise and sell beverages to a lot Uber customers. Well, if you’re a marketing people, he was talking about the ‘audience that hasn’t reach yet’. An ads that he can put on his Uber car. That’s quite nifty idea, right?
You know, I planned to work in a car but listening the driver is more interesting and guess what, he encourage me to build my own company rather than working with someone else. “I can read you” He said.
Long story short, finally I got the signed and stamped form so I can process the mismatch data to another BPJS office. Thanks Linda!
After I submit the form to Kebon Sirih BPJS office, I took a walk to Sarinah and work in another coffeeshop which another cool place! The place called Carribou Coffee.
I look at my watch, It’s 4pm, It will be a great disaster if I didn’t come home at this hour. The traffic, the calculated heavy rain and the surge price of Uber, of course. So I ordered Uber and planned to work in the car, again but apparently the driver now talks about why world oil price is very cheap right now. It caught my attention because it’s about world economy that failing on the other side. Again, I was a listener and trying to absorb and understand this kind of conversation. His theory was okay but if I can dig deeper like reading news, make some quick analyze, probably I will know about this kind of thing lol.
Nice trip and good conversation always makes me happy. Just read some of my friend’s status on social media that they’d caught in the heavy rain and struggle to get an Uber or Grab or any other transport. I am so lucky to arrived home early in the evening.
So yeah, that’s all my story for today. Hope you understand what I wrote lol. Have a nice rest and ready to start the day tomorrow.]
